slocqkThe 8th Slovak Winter Seminar of Regional Science will take place in the mountain resort of Little Fatra on 14th -17th March 2018 in the resort Drevenice Terchová in the city of Terchová (GPS: 49°15’17.4″N 19°02’34.8″E). The participation fee is 85 EUR for RSAI members and 105 EUR for non-RSAI members. The participation fee covers the conference proceedings, 1x lunch, 2x dinner, closing dinner reception on Friday and coffee breaks. This year the accommodation is paid in advance to the same account as the payment of the participation fee. We have a special accommodation price for the participants.

–       Single-occupied room incl. breakfast in the resort Drevenice Terchová for 3 nights: 3×35 = 105 eur
–       Shared room incl. breakfast in the resort Drevenice Terchová for 3 nights: 3×25 = 75 eur. Should you choose this option please send us the name of the colleague staying with you.
Please note that the number of the nights spent is fixed.

Vicente-RayuelaeditededitedVicente Royuela will present his research on Agglomeration economies in developing countries at the 8th Slovak Winter Seminar of Regional Science. Vicente is Professor of Applied Economics at University of Barcelona. He is member of the Board of Directors of the AQR Research Grup and member of the European Organizing Committee of ERSA. He is Editor of REGION and Regional Science Policy and Practice, and sits on the board of other scientific journals. He works in Regional Science and Urban Economics and is in research programs, including Spanish, Italian, EU Horizon 2020 and OECD projects.
