Congratulations to the Spanish and Slovak sections!
The ERSAC members (European Regional Science Association Council) met during the ERSA 2009 Congress in Lodz and selected Barcelona for the 2011 ERSA congress and Bratislava for the 2012 ERSA congress.
We would like to congratulate the Spanish and Slovak ERSA sections for the excellent proposals that were presented to the ERSAC members.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I would like to invite you to the EOC Meeting in Jonkoping, at 12.30 pm on Thursday August 19. The meeting will take place in the board room of JIBS (B7030). Lunch and afternoon coffee will be served there too. Please find attached the Agenda for the Meeting. If you have any other business to discuss, you should notify me prior to the Meeting. I am also attaching the current ERSA Member Directory.
In the Agenda, you can see whether you have been assigned a topic to present. Please send me any additional materials to circulate prior to the Meeting. Additional materials for the Meeting will be posted on ERSA website in the Member Area under the EOC - ERSAC section.

News from the 2010 ERSAC meeting in Jönköping
The ERSAC (European Regional Science Association Council) held its annual meeting in Jönköping, Sweden during the 50th Anniversary European Congress of the Regional Science Association International from August 19th to 23rd 2010.
Among others, the following decisions were taken during the meeting:
- ERSAC decided that the congress in 2013 would be held in Palermo, Italy.
- ERSAC elected 2 new ERSA officers starting January 2011 (for 5 years): Prof. Laura Resmini (Italian section) as Treasurer and Professor Maciej Turala (Polish section) as Secretary. Furthermore, Professor Frank Bruinsma was re-elected as EOC member.
We congratulate them all!

I would like to invite you to the Meeting of the ERSA Council in Jonkoping, at 9 am on Sunday August 22. The meeting will take place either in the board room of JIBS (B7030) or in the Board room in the main congress building. I will inform you of the exact location in due course. Please find attached the Agenda for the Meeting. If you have any other business to discuss, you should notify me prior to the Meeting. I am also attaching the current ERSA Member Directory.
Please note that if you cannot be present in the Meeting and would like to send a representative to vote on behalf of your Section, you need to provide a written notification to the President and the Secretary prior to the Meeting.
