RSAI British & Irish Section
51st Annual Conference
18-19 June 2025, UCC, Cork, Ireland

The RSAI British & Irish Section is very pleased to announce the 51st annual RSAI-BIS conference which will be taking place in Cork University Business School, University College Cork, Ireland from 18-19 June 2025.

This will be the first time our annual conference is returning to Ireland since the successful hosting of the European Regional Science Congress in the same city in 2018. The event is being hosted by the Spatial and Regional Economics Research Centre (SRERC) at Cork University Business School.

The conference will take place over two days, with a conference dinner on the June 19th and our legendary pub quiz will take place on the previous evening.

Below is the message from the Chair:

We welcome all researchers to attend virtually and provide feedback on the papers. If you would like to receive log on details for the sessions, please email the colloquium organiser, Daragh O’Leary (daragh.oleary@universityofgalway.ie). More information on the event is available here.

Season’s Wishes

The Committee would like to thank all members and supporters of the Section for their ongoing support. We look back on another wonderful conference in Bristol last July and we look forward in 2025 to building and strengthening the regional science community in Britain and Ireland.

We are always open to suggestions and input from members and supporters to increase our impact and engagement for the community.

We would like to extend the warmest of greetings and wishes to you and your families this festive season, and for a peaceful, healthy and rewarding 2025.
