This meeting is organised by Dutch Section of European Regional Science Association with the theme of “Broad Prosperity and Regional Inequality; What to do?” and will be held at “Wieden / Weerribben” room, Ministry of LNV, The Hague, Netherlands.

Keynote speaker: Andrés Rodríguez-Pose

Author of “The revenge of the places that do not matter” (CJRES 2018)

Andrés Rodríguez-Pose is Professor of Economic Geography at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. He frequently publishes and talks about regional growth and inequality, regional innovation, fiscal and political decentralization, and the role of institutions and the government. He is often quoted in scientific journals and frequently acts for policy makers, including the European Commission, the World Bank, and the OECD. He is also a consultant to national and local authorities.
