Developers, Planners and the City
The 28th ERSA & ERES Summer School organized by the European Regional Science Association & the European Real Estate Society held from the 5th to the 14th July, 2015 in Vienna, Austria, at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).
Joint theme: “Developers, Planners and the City”
The Summer School explored the relationship between real estate developers and urban planners and investigated how they jointly share the development of the city. It offered a combination of lectures on various topics by senior academics, visits to fascinating construction and urban renewal sites in Vienna and student presentations and discussions.
The Summer School of 2015 combined the following elements:
- Lectures by established researchers
- Site and company/public administration visits
- Presentations by participating students
