Winter Seminar 2023 of the Gesellschaft für Regionalforschung
18-25 February 2023 in Spital am Pyhrn, Austria
The annual winter seminar of the German-speaking section of the European Regional Science Association will take place between 18 and 25 of February 2023 in Spital am Pyhrn (Austria).
All contributions with a focus on regional/spatial phenomena and an economic, environmental, geographical and social science background are welcome! The
attendance of the seminar is free of charge for first-time participants and members of the GfR or other sections of the RSAI. Participants have to cover cost for
accommodation1 and travel on their own.
Submissions of extended abstracts (in English) can be made via email to gfr@ersa.org or Stephan.Brunow@arbeitsagentur.de until 25 November 2022. Please also include any time constraints in your email.

Room bookings can be made by telephone or via e-mail (by 30.12.2022 at the latest) directly with the Hotel Freunde der Natur:
Single room: 78 Euro per person per night (half board; incl. local tax)
Double room: 66 Euro per person per night (half board; incl. local tax)
Day guests: 17 Euro per person per meal (for a buffet dinner)
The COVID hygiene measures during the seminar are based on the official measures in force at the seminar location at the time of the seminar. Depending on the prevailing infection situation at the time, we may also reserve the right to take further measures that go beyond the official regulations. In any case, we will inform you about the applicable regulations in a timely manner.
