2024 Annual Conference of Slovak Section

The Slovak section of European Regional Science Association and  the Department of Public Administration and Regional Development of the Faculty of Economics invite you to the 2024 annual conference of the Slovak section of ERSA, which will be held on June 26, 2024 at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Bratislava.

The goal of the conference is to develop mutual cooperation within the academic community dealing with the issue of regional development and regional policy as well as cross-cutting policies affecting the development of regions. The conference is intended not only for members of the Society, but also for the wider academic and professional public.

Dates

Early registration until 15 April., deposit 60 Euros for personal participation and 35 Euros for virtual participation

Late registration until 1 June, deposit 70 Euros for personal participation and 40 Euros for virtual participation.

9.00 Opening
9.00 – 10.30 Presentations of registered members
10.30 – 12.00 Panel discussion – what are the current requirements for graduates for the public sector 

Employer representatives in the public sector using graduates of programs focused on regional development and public policies

12.00 – 14.00 Lunch combined with informal talks and awarding of the Prize for the Development of Regional Science and Policy
14.00 – 14.30 Preparation of support for the development of study programs focused on EU cohesion policies, MIRRI
14.30 – 16.30 Presentations of registered members
17.00 – 18.00 General meeting of the company
