The Department of Economics, Management and Business Law (DEMDI) and the Laboratory ofApplied Economics (LEA) of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” are pleased to announce theWorkshop on Regional Studies and Territorial Development. The workshop will explore theevolution of regions and territories in a changing world. As conflicts and economic shiftsreshape global dynamics, local and regional development – and the related policy instruments –becomes a key strategy for resilience and sustainability.Selected speakers (up to a maximum of 5) are not charged any fees, but they need toorganize their travel and accommodation in Bari. Contributions should relate to the workshop’s themes and offer useful insights into localpolicies and actions for territorial development.

This event, organized by Angela Stefania Bergantino (angelastefania.bergantino@uniba.it) and the Research team of the Laboratory of Applied Economics (LEA) aims to explore the evolving role of regions and territories in a changing global landscape, with a focus on local policies and actions for territorial development.
