Fifty years ago, the Dutchman Jean Paelinck introduced the term “Spatial Econometrics (see https://en.wikipedia.org/(…)Spatial_econometrics). The organisers want to celebrate this anniversary by looking back and forward fifty years at the XVIII World Conference of the Spatial Econometrics Association (SEA 2024) to be held in Groningen, the Netherlands: 24-25 June 2024.
During this conference you will:
• Receive individualized feedback from peers and experts on your paper
• Get inspirations from the latest development in spatial econometrics
• Extend your network with scholars that have similar methodological interests
The XVIII SEA Conference 2024 in Groningen will consist of parallel sessions and two keynote sessions spread over two days, 24 & 25 June.

Important Dates
• 31 January 2024: abstract (300-1000 words) submission deadline
• 1 March 2024: notification of acceptance
• 15 April 2024: registration deadline
• 1 May 2024: full paper submission deadline of young researchers for the Jean Paelinck Prize
Registration
Registration for the conference opens on 1 March 2024.
The registration deadline for participants of the conference who want to present a paper is 15 April 2024.
