Professor Antoine Bailly has taught geography in Switzerland, Canada and France. Winner of the Vautrin Lud Prize, the Nobel Prize for Geography, he also received the Founder’s Medal for Regional Sciences and four Honoris Causa Doctorates. Author of works in human geography, medicine and regional science, he continues his work from the mountains of Valais.
