I am extremely delighted and honored to confirm that Commissioner Elisa Ferreira will join us in person in Terceira to make her keynote address during the Opening Session of the Congress that will take place on Tuesday 27 August afternoon. The session will be chaired by Andrés Rodríguez-Pose, a distinguished scholar of our Association.

It is a privilege for our Regional Science Network to have Elisa Ferreira with us. It will definitely be a key moment of the Congress, rich in information and inspiration for our research activities. We hope that many of you will be able to attend the session.
