We are happy to announce that the Call for Session Proposals is OPEN!

The #EURegionsWeek is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. The meeting is held in Brussels, organised and led by the European Commission’s DGs for Regional Policy and Employment and the Committee of the Regions and brings together 6,000+ local, regional, national and European decision-makers and academic experts in regional and local development.

Regional Studies Association European Foundation (RSA Europe) with the cooperation of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA) and the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP) will together host around 10 sessions showcasing the best of new research to the largely policy-based audience at the week.

The broad themes of this edition are:
1. Green Europe
2. Cohesion and Cooperation
3. Empowering Citizens
