„Rethinking Regional Competitiveness”

The aim of the scientific conference is to bring together scientists, researchers, practitioners from the field of Economics, Management, Marketing, Finances and Accounting, Public Policy and Administration to discuss the contribution, role and decisions of different actors or stakeholders (business companies, government and local self-governments, non-governmental organizations) when developing the strong, competitive region.

This international scientific conference is a part of international conference “Circular Economics for Region Competitiveness” with two plenary sessions: “Progress otherwise: Circular Economy” and „Challenges, Opportunities, and Ways“.

Organizational partners: Siauliai University, Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Siauliai Municipality, European Regional Science Association Baltic Section, Academic centre for Public Administration.

Main Conference question focuse on
  • How can the transition to a circular economy increase the attractiveness of regions for investment, add value, create jobs and stimulate innovation?
  • How can economic operators reap the benefits of the internal market for secondary raw materials?
    Business representatives, researchers, foreign experts will discuss these and related questions.

Registration and Participation Fee Payment

Conference participation fee – 30 € for the person (conference material, coffee breaks, lunch). The participation fee is not refundable in the case of non-attendance.
