Doctoral Student Conference 2024 of ASRDLF
8-9 February 2024, Tours, France

The French Speaking Section (ASRDLF) of ERSA is happy to announce the Doctoral Students Annual Conference 2024. The conference will be organised by l’UMR7324 CITERES (Équipe DATE), CNRS-Université de Tours (University of Tours) & the French Speaking of ERSA (ASRDLF).

The ASRDLF Doctoral Studies are aimed at doctoral students and researchers who work on territorial and regional issues in the human and social sciences (planning, economics, urban planning, geography, management, history, law, political sciences, sociology, etc.). They are a time for privileged exchanges and debates between young researchers and experienced researchers. They take place in the form of thematic or methodological workshops during which doctoral students present their thesis work in front of several teacher-researchers, experienced researchers and other young researchers in order to share perspectives, enrich experiences and collect insights. advice on their work.

As usual, in 2024 all of the general and recurring themes addressed in the ASRDLF’s research, theses and scientific events will be covered during the Doctoral Studies. Consequently, whatever their thesis subject and the methods used (quantitative and/or qualitative), all doctoral students will be able to present their current research work, without exclusion.

These ASRDLF 2024 Doctoral Studies are fully in line with the cross-cutting themes of the UMR CITERES on studies relating, on the one hand, to sustainable territorial development (at all spatial scales) and its modes of governance, on the other hand to contemporary environmental issues (notably those linked to climate change), and are at the heart of the multidisciplinary questions of the DATE team (Territorial and Environmental Dynamics and Actions) on society-space-environment relationships.

Remarks :

For successful applicants (doctoral students) as well as for teacher-researchers, researchers and non-academics, registration, lunches and coffee breaks are free. Transportation, accommodation and other meal costs are the responsibility of the participants.
