2023 Sustainable Development Festival
8-24 May 2023
│Online & In-person (Italy)

The next Sustainable Development Festival will represent an important stage in the path towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda just 7 years before its expiry. 2022 was dominated by the war in Ukraine, its social and economic consequences, and the impact they had on societies and economies, especially in the European Union.

In 2023 the Alliance will organize the Festival in an innovative format compared to the last editions, which saw the main events concentrated in Rome due to the restrictions related to the pandemic. This year, the main events organized by ASviS and its Working Groups will take place in various cities throughout Italy, each of which will host a stage of the Festival, with events on various themes, thanks to a partnership with the cities and universities. With this new format, the Festival assigns a leading role to the territories, also highlighting the new research centers created by the PNRR on disciplines related to the 2030 Agenda (biodiversity, sustainable agriculture, sustainable mobility, etc.).

The National Institute of Bioarchitecture – INBAR, as it has done in previous editions, has been participating in the Events of the Festival for Sustainable Development 2023 – ASviS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development which begins the 8 May and ends on 24, i.e. 17 days like the Objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development e  https://2023.festivalsvilupposostenibile.it/
