Winter Seminar 2020 of the Gesellschaft für Regionalforschung
15-22 February 2020, Matrei in Osttirol, Austria
The annual winter seminar of the German-speaking section of the European Regional Science Association will take place between 15th and 22nd of February 2020 in Matrei in Osttirol (Austria).
The seminar has a rather unique format: sessions are only held in the afternoons and evenings, meaning that there is ample spare time for networking, paper writing, the development of new research ideas, research collaborations, and last but not least for enjoying the beautiful Alpine nature and winter sports activities in the surroundings. Time slots of one hour are reserved for each presentation, providing plenty of room for in-depth discussion.
Abstract submissions (max. 500 words) in all sub-fields of regional science are welcome between October 1st and November 15th 2019 via the homepage of the Gesellschaft für Regionalforschung (GfR) http://gfr.ersa.org/. The seminar language will be English. Participation in the seminar is free for first-time attendants and members of GfR or other regional sections of ERSA.
